I’m Betsy Yanasak, an artist and founder of Cartago Studio—a creative space born from a daily practice of painting, reflection, and reconnecting with what brings joy. What started as quiet mornings with watercolor and music evolved into a transformative journey of healing, intention, and self-expression.

My art explores energy, movement, and the beauty of the natural world. Through bold color, layered texture, and abstract forms—often rooted in the shapes of trees and organic landscapes—I aim to capture the vibrant pulse of life and the stories that live beneath the surface.

Cartago Studio is a space for creative connection. I offer original artwork, commissions, and community-based art experiences that invite others to tap into their own creativity and sense of purpose. A portion of all proceeds supports organizations that uplift women and families.

At its heart, my work is about transformation—using color and connection to inspire people to reclaim their joy and live more intentionally.
